Windows Live registry broken?

Hey community,

So I've been having this issue for awhile with my computer, and have been hesitant to re-install Windows, because I really don't want to. I've been having an issue with anything Windows Live related, as in it just doesn't work. I cannot sign into Zune, I can't play GTAIV, Dirt 2 and 3, and Microsoft Flight. I have a Windows Phone, so using the Zune marketplace is really nice, and before it broke, I had 190hrs on GTAIV. When I try to boot GTAIV, or Flight, or Dirt, it just opens for a second, and then closes. I just now installed Flight, and Dirt 2 and 3 were fresh installs. I've reinstalled GTAIV about 6 times. Zune the same. I want to solve this issue, but I have no clue how to approach it, or to diagnose it. I don't even know what it is, other than the fact that it has to do with the internals, and that it has to do with Windows Live.

Try this,

Use a freeware registery cleaner,
Reinstall Windows live
Back up save files
Reinstall the games
Update video card drivers
Scan for viruses with Microsoft Security Essentials (best & free)

check if this works, perhaps u should update .net framework also and C+ runtime
