My PC kept flashing a blue screen and rebooting immediately after the Windows XP loading screen finished loading. I used the XP CD to run a repair install and ran CHKDSK and it said "One or more errors were found on your HDD" and thats it. After that, windows boots but before the standard quick loading screen, a plain black screen with a white dashed bar on the bottom loads for about 6 minutes, very slowly. What is going on and how do I get rid of it?

I have the exact same problem. Managed to fix a error in windows system32 config system, but then i got this screen error. Found out it was about systemroot system32 config software being corrupt. Ran chkdsk, now black screen after windows loading screen.
