[SOLVED] Windows Login Screen doesn't appear ?

Something seems to have happened to Windows, as when it boots up I get the dreaded black screen with cursor.

BUT, if I press the ENTER key and type my password, it logs me in and shows my desktop and the system works normally.

So something is preventing the login screen from appearing ?

Any ideas?

Disregard this. Windows is definitely hosed. Can't even boot to safe mode. Going to have to reinstall from scratch.
