There is no upgrade path from Windows ME to Windows 7.
It's almost certain that you won't be able to get W7 to run on that laptop anyway.
Minum systems requirements are 1GB of ram and 16 GB of free hard drive space.
That laptop came standard with 128mg of ram and expandable to a maximum of 320mb. I don't know what size hard drive it has, but I feel reasonably sure it's not big enough to fir W7 on.
The HP is likewise underspecified and the hard disk too small.
The Dell is the only one with a chance of running Windows7.
Also note that the W7 instalation media is on a DVD, so you would need a dvd reader in each pc, as far as I can tell the Dell was fitted with a dvd drive.
Further you would need 3 licences one for each pc, while you could get a family pak for 3 pc's, there is not much hope of using them on the first 2.
Download the advisor from the link supplied by w7pro and install and run it on each pc.
Only XP and later are eligible to be upgraded to W7.
