Hello

I got my new PC in June and I am having trouble playing back video from my Canon VIXIA HF R400. It is really choppy. It pauses, plays, and it is very hard to produce video. Even when in my video editor, it is laggy with the lowest viewing settings. The video is recorded at 1920x1080p @ 30 FPS. My graphics card could handle HD footage until August. I updated the driver, and I just checked the graphics driver TODAY. If you could help, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

"My graphics card could handle HD footage until August. I updated the driver, and I just checked the graphics driver TODAY"

Therein lies a clue. Roll back your graphics driver to the previous version in Device Manager.

1) Right-click your graphics card in DM & choose "Properties".
2) Click the "Driver" tab.
3) Click "Roll back driver".
4) Click 'OK'.

Never update any driver if it's working okay and you have no compelling reason to do so.
Simply having a driver that isn't the latest version is not a compelling reason to update it!
