Windows media player not burining CD's

Its starts burning fine but after about 2 or 3 songs it ways an error ocurred on the rest of the files and ejects the CD' without burning it.

Have you used any other applications for burning? If other burning apps don't work, you have a bad burner, or really crappy disks.

sorry to butt in! I just lost use of my dvd player...am recording for Christmas too! I did just update Java?...Also, I was uninstalling what I thought was unnecessary programs, duplicates, etc. Have too much on my computer! It has 60 Gigs. Somehow in the last week, I've used up 20 plus! Don't understand....Anyway, now the player doesn't show up under computer; I just have the C and D drives? Can anyone help? It would be much appreciated...thanks, Bill
