I downloaded and installed windows messenger. I want to use it to
connect to LCS 2005 using SIP. But it gives me only .Net passport and
exchange account options and not SIP. The version of messenger is
5.1.0680.

I also have Communicator installed on the same machine. Will that be
the reason why I don't get the SIP Option in Windows Messenger?

Thanks for any help.

Communicator overrides (better yet, takes over) the SIP settings that are
normally in Windows Messenger.
