I have a colegue that need s me to help him via remote assistance.

It has been set up OK, or so it seemed. However, although we can send each
other messages, when he requests assitance and we go through the various
messages it times out and presents the message "Remote Assistance connection
could not be established because the remote host name could not be resolved.
Please try again".

Can anyone give me a clue as to what I need to do to correct this.

What I find strange is that if I request remote assistance my colegue is
able to work on my PC.

Kind Regards
Mick

Two words explain the things he needs to check:

Firewall

Router

Lol, router might not matter to much (as long as UPnP - Universal Plug and
Play - is enabled)
The Firewall should be able to be temporarily disabled

If your collegue is unable to view/change these settings then he should
consult his system administrator

Oh and by the way, Remote Assistance DOES work!!! I proved it to myself just
yesterday, lol (through router too)
