I filmed a movie for a project in my English Class that is between 13-14 minutes long. All of it was filmed in 1080p. The videos that are in the project are all MP4s, and there are a couple MP3 tracks as well. Freemake won't convert the videos to WMV for me to try that for some reason.

Anyway, I got the movie to save as an MP4 at 720p after failing several times at 1080p. Movie Maker either stops responding or says Not Enough Memory when finalizing as either an MP4 or WMV at 1080p. As far as I can tell there are no other programs that can read and edit a wlmv file for me to try. So, how can I get this thing to work?

Thought there was but I just looked and that doesn't seem to be the case. That's the problem though movie maker simply can't address enough RAM to do what you want.

AFAIK movie maker is the only way to change from .wlmv to anything else so you will either need to live with it at 720 or go back to the original files and edit them in a newer program.

Do you have a 32 or 64 bit version of movie maker? The 32 bit version still can't address more than 4GB even with a 64 bit OS.

It sounds like you have the 32 bit version and are hitting that limit.
