Windows Movie Maker Vista

Hello,
when I try to move videos into Windows movie maker I get a message saying the needed codec is not installed on my computer. Where do I go to get the needed codec filles? I have downloaded some codec files off of the internet but they didn't work.

its hard to say.
It really depends on what the video was encoded in originally.
I'd start w/ a codec pack...
