We've got a samsung ml2250 laser printer. We've also got windows 7 pro on a dell optiplex gx620 computer and windows 8.1 pro on an asus P6X58D premium computer. Both windows systems are having the same problem recognizing the printer (using usb connection).
I've been able to temporarily fix the problem by uninstalling the USB "Enhanced Host Controller" (in the Device Manager) before plugging in the printer cable. However, after shutting down the computer, I have to got through the same routine again in order to use the printer.
Someone on the microsoft community forums said the problem was with the samsung driver and to contact samsung, however, we have the most recent driver.
Anyone know a way to fix this?
Thanks.
