So I'll try to keep this as detailed as possible.

A few months I was booting up my Laptop normally, it's an Asus k55a-QH91-BL-CB when all of a sudden it gave me an error and said that my windows was corrupted. I called the hotline and asked asus for help and told me i could refresh/recover my pc through F9 I followd the steps nothing was working so they told me to ship it in but it would cost me over $100 because my warranty was up. Of course I said no because that's ridiculous considering I can just buy a new Windows OS for less than that problem solved. This issue arisen after I had upgraded my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 just to let you know.

So lately I've been trying to recover my PC to the way I had it factory setting because Windows 10 is offering free upgrades to Legit Windows 7-8 users and I want to take advantage without having to pay again. To be able to use my laptop now I installed a currently unactivated Windows 8.1 pro. Now I want to go back to factory settings.

This Laptop apparently is an OEM version I never received any Recovery disks or windows cd. I was told that if i find the right Windows 8 that goes with my laptop model the OEM key would automatically be put in and install Windows 8 64bit. I tried to do so using http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/18309-windows-8-windows-8-1-iso-download-create.html
but when I get through the language set up step it says it cant find any drivers.

Solution
You need all three of those, but mostly the hard disk controller. When you start the installer, click on the "load drivers" text.
More than details, it's rambling.
Here's the details I can pick out:
1) You used the internal factory reset method to re-install windows
2) The installer never activated windows for you
3) your drivers are broken

That would seem to be that the recovery image just doesn't work because of the upgrade to 8.1. Here's what you should do:
1) Make an install disk using http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media
2) Add the network and storage controller drivers to that media (if USB, if disk make a second disk with the media)
3) Restart the computer with the install media attached and follow the on-screen instructions.
4) When you have an option to load drivers (bottom left corner), load the storage controller drivers and network drivers.
5) Continue the install
6) After first logging in, open the system screen (right click on windows icon) and click on the activation part.

It should work after that.

WTF???

NEVER TORRENT WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEMS.

Go to the link I gave you, make a NEW stick, and then put the extracted drivers on there . You need to extract the drivers by opening the exe first (it will turn into inf and cab files)

I download the link you sent to my first usb which was the same as the link i provided my first post. Now I downloaded the drivers from asus on my second usb and extracted the drivers doing what you said. They recognize a couple of drivers but won't allow me to continue still. What are the drivers "network and storage controller drivers" called ?, this is the part where I've been lost the whole time. Which ones do I need? "Network & Wireless Drivers"? "System & Chipset Drivers"? "Hard Disk Controller Drivers"? I extract the files it shows the cab data files in the folder. When I reboot and go through the process it see them but wont continue.
