Well basically I have just upgraded from windows 7 to 10 for one game and I noticed after upgrading that there is a windows.old folder on my C drive and I was wondering if it is safe to delete the folder if it will damage my OS in any way, also another issue I have noticed is my cpu is idleing higher it used to idle as low as 18 degrees on one of the cores and 21 degrees overall now it is idleing at around 32 degrees which is still safe but it's bugging me and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this as it's still reaching a maximum of 61 degrees under load which was the same as windows 7 and the ram usuage has gone up if somebody could help me resolve these issues it would be greatly appreciated

Solution
1. it does not hurt anything by being there.

2. It goes away by itself after a month.

3. If you wish to get rid of it now, you have to go through Disk Cleanup.
