Question Windows only allows programs to use 8 of my 24 gigs of ram

I've been scratching my head over this problem, so I have 3 8 gig sticks, 2 are corsair, 1 is crucial technology, and only one is being used, not sure which. I've followed website guides and done many things, (unlocking maximum memory, looking for integrated graphics settings, etc.) and none of it seems to work. Can anybody help? My motherboard model is an MSI x470 gaming plus, and I purchased it around mid to late summer.

What are the actual models of your installed memory? Be advised that mixing memory makes/models can produce undesirable results.

How much memory does your BIOS recognize?

The bios also recognizes all the memory. As far as I know, both corsair Ram sticks are the same model (from the same purchase),

I don't know about the remaining one, since it was a gift
