Windows only boots when I press spacebar

Hi

I have an Acer Aspire 4830T and it boots in this sequence

Power on, black screen with cursor, then I press spacebar or esc and it partial boots again, then black screen with cursor, spacebar or esc again then it fully loads windows.

The bios has limited options with the advanced options heading missing. Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

That sounds pretty messed up!
You should check the Acer site for a BIOS update.
If you cant find a newer version try re-flashing your current version.

If that doesn't fix it you may need to go for a fresh install unfortunately...

Make sure you don't have any bootable CD/DVD in drive or bootable usb stick connected.

Go to bios options and make sure that boot priority is set to HDD where system is installed.

If problem is still there try to upgrade bios as stated above.
If it's not helping reinstall OS/contact seller (depending on warranty)
