HI, I have a clean install Win10Pro machine that I intended to be headless. I can remote into the Win10Pro machine from a Win11Pro laptop with not issues over LAN. However, after I installed and run VPN Unlimited on the Win10Pro machine I can no longer RDP into it from my Win11Pro laptop. It is as if the Win10Pro machine is no longer in my LAN. Does anyone know what I can do to RDP into the Win10Pro machine over LAN?

My Win10Pro LAN IP is 192.168.2.100 and when VPN is running I can lo longer ping it from my Win11Pro machine.

Thanks

That depends on the VPN software. It depends on if it blocks access to other devices on the local lan. This is very common on vpn software used to say get remote access to company network.

Most vpn software has this feature it just depends on if it is activated by defualt or not, some vpn used to remote into a office are set so you can not disable this feature.

You are going to have to dig around and try to find the setting. It is commonly called split tunnel but it has other names.
