Hello,

I would appreciate a hint regarding Remote desktop connection in Windows XP
Professional.
I can connect to several computers using remote desktop option in WinXP
without any difficulty
either like a local administrator or a domain user. But on several others I
am allowed to log in
only as a local admin not a domain user. When trying log in domain user it
warns me like
"your permittion for interactive logon was forbiden, ask system admin"

Any idea what setting is driving this permition?

Thank you.
martin

On the machines you are allowed to log in with your domain account, check the
Local Administrator group. Those machines have probably had a group added
into Local Administrators that your user is a member of.
