Windows Restet Broken

So guys i have Asus R553Ln-xo516h/S551Ln My pc says its s551ln but i bought it as R553LN and it says it on the back of the pc, so when i resetted my windows, and personal files i get nothing but this ring, it just does it, nothing else keeps rounding around for 5 hours till i shat it down
the hdd is not broken took it to my other pc, works fine last day

did you try to keep files or wipe everything?

If the Asus web site ever loaded I could see how to get into factory reset but I suspect it uses windows functions for that which we can't get to.

If you chose to save files, you may need to use http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windows-computer/ to access and copy your files

Win 10 resets seem to go too far and break windows. If you can copy everything off Laptop using Ubuntu, I would do a fresh install.

On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB

change the boot order in bios to USB first, hdd second
boot from the Win 10 USB and follow this guide: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html
