I was just browsing some internet recently and I suddenly thought about this old game Far west and I tried to download it. Now I got a download and got the game on my computer. But when trying to run it crashed instantly, now I kinda expected this to happen because ts a super old game. But after that I tried some compatability things and the windows problem solver, well nothing worked. Anyhow I gave up on it but ever since I ran the game my windows feels a bit slower and is randomly laggy, like also when playing youtube videos. Also my screen res gets put down to 640x480 when I close a game. There is actually not that much difference when in a game or something that is fullscreen but the moment I go out of that it feels kind of stuttery again so I assume it has to do with the screen resolution somehow. I tried updating my drivers for GPU and resetting my background resolution but it still does the same.
If anyone has any ideas it would be very much appreciated because as of typing this message I already had like 5 stutters.
