Windows says i have internet, but i don't i dont

My computer has had this issue ever since i switched from Comcast to ATT internet. First when i switched to ATT internet i was able to connect to it properly. Then, all the sutton the internet went off the Google Chrome gives me an error of " can't display " and then i had to fully reinstall windows 8, which fixed the problem for a while. Now once again i have lost internet but yet it says that there is internet. I don't want to reset my Windows 8 again, any tips?

try reset the router unplug from wall and disconnect cable from computer and shut down.after minute or so plug in everything back turn on computer if not solved there is an internet icon in right bottom corner right click on Troubleshoot problems.

I restarted and even reset the TCP/IP stack to default and it says limited. When i try to get on internet says not available.

I decided to restart the router again, it has worked thank you very much.
