Decided to switch from Windows Defender to System mechanics Guard.

I was already using System mechanic for accelewriting and such so thought i may aswell use the inbuilt AV real time protection also... as my system is faster with it enabled and windows defender off.

However in the tray WD doesnt recognize i have another AV running and so the constant X shows up over windows defender tray.

How can i get it to see it running or point to it ?

I assume its Systemshield- https://www.techradar.com/au/reviews/iolo-system-mechanic-ultimate-defense as I can't find Guard?

I see no indication by Iolo on their own web pages that their System Shield AV portion of their product is truly certified for use with Windows, only that it "works with Windows", which means nothing.

I also don't see them listed at the following page of consumer AV providers for Windows 10.

Scrolling down further shows a few other tests with older versions of Windows that often failed.

I'd personally disable or remove that supposed AV product and just use the well respected Windows Defender that's included free with Windows 10, you'd be far better off.
