I have i7 920 with EX58-UD5 motherboard. I installed 48GB of ram few months ago, and first Windows recognized all 48 GB ram fine.

Now I noticed that when I look at task manager I only have 32GB availble, and 16GB "System reserved", so I am not able to use all of my ram.

I went to BIOS and BIOS only shows 32GB RAM.

Strange thing is that it used to work, altho I did get blue screen of death's once in a while, and now my system seems to be stable so perhaps this is the reason? Offcouse I prefer stable system and 32GB RAM.

Now my question is, that is there any way for me to still to try to get Windows to use all 48gb ram?

I guess that you are right, perhaps I should just leave it as it is - it is still 8GB more than officially supported and I might be fine with 32GB RAM.

There is one newer update available, but this update didn't have any improvement over memory compatibility, so I didnt't bother.
