Hi friends,
Client machine in a live environment wont boot up.
What I did was ran msconfig and went to the boot tab and selected safemode + networking then went to reboot the machine so I could boot in safemode with networking because F8 was not allowing me to boot in safe mode earlier.
Now the machine tries to boot up in safe mode but sits idle are "Preparing network connection". Its been 25 minutes and is still sitting there idle.
I did a hard reset many times with no way to get to the screen where I can boot using last known configuration since the F8 function isnt working.
If I can get back to the boot with last known configuration screen that might work, but I cant even get there nor can I load Windows server 2003 any way.
Also someone said this Preparing network connections; to come back in an hour. I highly doubt that would work.
Thoughts? Im at a clients and they need this server for tomorrows operations.
