I've googled allot about this, can't find a solution that works for me though.

Logged onto the domain controller, I can see my other pc in the server manager, but I can't do anything with it. (I'll call the pc that isn't the dc "B") Logged on to pc B, the dc doesn't show up in the server manager. When I try to join pc B to the dc, I get an error , can't remember what it says, but in "details" it says that it could contact the dc, but couldn't join B to the domain for some reason.. And now, I'm getting a different error. I remember I changed something, it's probably why. I set the ipv4 dns address to be obtained automatically, and the numbers don't come back when I set it to manual. How do I know what numbers to put in here?

edit - forgot to copy the error:

Code:
Note: This information is intended for a network administrator. If you are not your network's administrator, notify the administrator that you received this information, which has been recorded in the file C:\Windows\debug\dcdiag.txt.

The following error occurred when DNS was queried for the service location (SRV) resource record used to locate an Active Directory Domain Controller (AD DC) for domain "Cluster.ca":

The error was: "This operation returned because the timeout period expired."
(error code 0x000005B4 ERROR_TIMEOUT)

The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.Cluster.ca

The DNS servers used by this computer for name resolution are not responding. This computer is configured to use DNS servers with the following IP addresses:

(no addresses found)
Verify that this computer is connected to the network, that these are the correct DNS server IP addresses, and that at least one of the DNS servers is running.

And I'm running data center, if that matters.

Now I'm back to where I was before, and I get this error now:

Code:
Note: This information is intended for a network administrator. If you are not your network's administrator, notify the administrator that you received this information, which has been recorded in the file C:\Windows\debug\dcdiag.txt.

DNS was successfully queried for the service location (SRV) resource record used to locate a domain controller for domain "Cluster.ca":

The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.Cluster.ca

The following domain controllers were identified by the query:
win-nmmii6uml9i.cluster.ca

However no domain controllers could be contacted.

Common causes of this error include:

- Host (A) or (AAAA) records that map the names of the domain controllers to their IP addresses are missing or contain incorrect addresses.

- Domain controllers registered in DNS are not connected to the network or are not running.
