Guys I am buying a new laptop that comes with DOS.I have a Dreams park account so I will get a free copy of Windows Server 2012 R2.Can I use it like Windows 8 on my laptop ? Will the Windows 8 drivers be compatible with it ?

Yes you can. I ran Windows Server 2008 R2 as a desktop OS for a couple of years.
