Ok as you see in the description i cannot get windows 2000 to recognize usb keyboard when on the setup / repair screen it works for F6 to install drivers but when i get too setup install it does not work
i need help asap :ouch:

is the port usb 2.0/3.0
during the F6 did you install the USB drivers? you may need to prompt the installer to use the drivers for the USB 2.0/3.0
windows 2k has USB 1.0 support, 2.0 and higher were added later.
only thing I can think of

just regular usb 2.0 tried other usb ports too no luck tried unplugging it in and out no luck. trued another keyboard no luck

tried multipe keyboards one is the original keyboard one is a gaming keyboard really shouldnt matter if its still detected at the f6 screen motherboard (or computer is a xps 8300) slipstreamed sata drivers (they do work)
