i have no idea what ive done, but recently just upgraded to windwos 10 a week ago.

today suddenly all the above keys i mentioned have stopped working.

everything else works fine, including caps lock button, tab etc...

i have tried everything, searching online, uninstalling keyboard drivers and reinstalling etc..

currently the device manager is showing 'hid keyboard device' i have no idea what it was previously. the only thing i can think of doing was that i was uninstalling some unused random software off my pc that i found under apps. but im pretty sure none of them was linked to the keyboard.

i have also used the paid version of 'driver easy' to update all my pc drivers, so everything is up to date.

the keyboard i have is the Saitek Cyborg V7 Illuminated Gaming usb Keyboard.

although i think that i never had any dedicated software installed for this keyboard previously.

also i have gone into the settings on windows 'ease of use' and made sure all the keyboard specific boxes like toggle and sticky keys are switched off.

Hi,

Have you already tried using a different USB keyboard?
- First, turn off your PC then plug the keyboard into a different USB port then try it again.
- If it will still not work, connect a different USB keyboard and see if it will work or not.
- If a different USB keyboard will work that confirms it that it's your Saitek Cyborg V7 is faulty already.

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, i do not have another USB keyboard, i am a macbook person mainly, only started using my windows machine for VR purposes recently.

However, i think i do have a Bluetooth keyboard that has a usb dongle. I will try with that i guess!

For the cyborg i did try change the usb slot but while the pc was on, i will try it again when the pc is off.

I just find it weird how the keys on this cyborg can just suddenly stop working, and that too these specific keys and not the rest?! Its like I triggered some sort of switch in windows 10 that disables these specific keys.

Ive also looked through my keyboard and made sure i accidentally did not push a gaming button or something that would disable these keys but that didn't help either!!!

🙁

right i just tried the usb Bluetooth logitech keyboard and all the keys on that work fine.....

im really at a loss as to how it could be my keyboard that is broken/damaged and that too just some particular keys only, one minute it was working fine and after some software uninstalls it just stopped working.

i still for some reason think its a driver issue with windows 10, i feel really bad in letting this keyboard go if i have to change it. it was a costly keyboard purchased 3 years ago but has hardly been used, as i dont use windows pc much.

does this look like i will have to buy another keyboard then or is there anything i can still try.
