I got my motherboard replaced recently under warranty and I provided windows with a new key to re-activate it. After that under the memory section in Task manager it is showing me 0 hardware reserved memory. Is it possible to fix the issue without reinstalling windows? I have windows 10 64 bit. Will updating windows to 1909 help to solve the issue?

wonder how screen is working with no hardware reserved. That is its main use?

Which version of win 10 is this? My performance screen shows different headers under it

which is why I ask?

right click start
choose run...
type winver and press enter
current is 1909

On the GPU tab, what is showing as shared memory there? it should show how much it could use (if needed). It also should show Hardware reserved at bottom.

It is windows version 1909. I updated it today only after I posted this thread but it did not solve the issue. Under GPU section it is showing me 20mb reserved memory. If I remember correctly this problem is since I changed my motherboard. I am afraid that I will have to re-install windows which is such a pain in the arse.

On task manager/performance tab, click open resource monitor at bottom of page
click on the memory tab
In area under physical memory, any show as Hardware reserved? It could just be a display error

DXDiag doesn't show the field.
