Hello there, so 3-4 months ago i was doing fine with my computer, whilst playing games, but this previous month the computer started to randomly shut off [showing no signal on screen and going black simply shut down, then fans or harddrive goes off], i have no idea why, this only happens when i play games, i can watch videos on youtube and other stuff, on gaming [any game] it plays for 5-10 minutees then shuts off.
After i turn it on i get a small error text box, that says a minidump file was created and a .sys file, so i open them and this is what they say, VIDEO_TDR_failure(116)

[This is the .sys file] [https://pastebin.com/VaqSPAMi]
[This is the minidump file] [https://pastebin.com/kK2TtwHv]

I have tried re-instlaling the whole NVIDIA drivers every single one of them, still happens. tried downgrading to a older version still nothing, tried the latest new driver nothing still, help.

My computer specs are

Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1 [32bit]
Processor : Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5700 @ 3.00GHz 2.99GHz
Ram : 1GB RAM
Graphis card : NVidia Geforce 210 [1GB Dedicated Video Memory]
PSU : 500 Watt PSU
HDD : 500GB
What else, idk someone help.

Hi

I had similar problem a year ago.
I could watch vids an all that. But games 15-20min and hang and turn off. Dont remember the BOSD code.
High temp on the CPU. Fixed by replacing the cooling paste, cleaned of the old one and added new.

It will turn off cuz of the high temp to try to stop it from overheating.

I checked using an temp program And the temp went all the way up to 90 something on the cpu.. I had some spare cooling paste laying around and that was the only thing that was wrong.

Dont remember which program, there a alot out there.

Try it and if it works. Let me know

You mean thermal paste by Cooling paste?
(just making sure)

I just opened my case and took off the CPU, and applied some toothpaste on it cause i don't have thermal paste at the moment, but i noticed something when i opened the case.

The GPU was hot as fuck, it was so hot so I guess that's where the problem is.
help =.= what can i do
the GPU is overheating how can i fix it

while i was playing GTA:SA it hit 80-84 celcius, crazy...

If it gets so hot, it migh be dust in it or worst case the fan(s) is broken
Remove any dust on the fan on the GPU. Start the computer and see if the fan rotate.
If it dont rotate, you can either try to replace the fan or buy a new card.

If you have tried overclock the gpu, downclock it and check the fans speed in the control panel for the card.

Just a tip, you should invest in some compressed air like "Dust Off" and some Q-tips.
I usally clean my for dust 1 time pr month, cuz it on some hours every day

None of these solutions above were correct
The real reason was the GPU was overheating, and the GPU FAN wasn't spinning so it reached the maximum (temperature which is 105 Celcius degree and the computer shut down automatically to avoid damaging the GPU)
