So, I have a machine I use to run marketing software... I accidentally installed 32 bit on the system initially and just recently upgraded to 64bit. The machine was running quickly and smooth on 32bit, but after moving to 64bit I am getting, well lag is probably the best way to put it... the programs seem to run fine but I am getting lag in the processing of things.

Should be noted that I did not format before upgrading, everything was moved to windows.old, which has been deleted.

Specs:
6gb ram
CPU: Inten Xeon E5506

Any help is appreciated.

You may have answered your own question. You upgraded Windows instead of a format/clean install. If you have the time I'd suggest formatting and installing a clean version and go from there.

Yup, have done all of those things. I was think about looking for a more in-depth registry cleaner than the one offered by CC cleaner. I also have visuals set for best performance and no page pagging.
