Question Windows slows down after 5 minutes of using it

I recently just fixed my Toshiba satellite ( just had to reinstall windows 7 ) and I have an illegal copy, and so I noticed everything is fast and snappy, but then an error comes up After 5 minutes of using it and it says “you may be a victim of counterfeiting” and windows just SLOWS down majorly once I click ok. So I turn my laptop off and turn it back on everything is snappy again, so I open task manager and wait for the error to come up, and the error comes up, I click ok, and my memory usage, in 30 seconds, goes to 95% and stays there. So I’m assuming I have to buy a legal copy of Windows, but if there is any work around this, I’m happy to try anything! Thanks in advance
