Should I enable Windows Sonic for my desktop speakers? for a bit increase in sound quality? or is it works only on headphones? sorry if it sounds dumb but had to ask, it says "Windows Sonic for headphones" but perhaps it may work in speakers too? That is the setting option under Control Panel>Sound>Playback>"speaker">Spatial sound

how do I know if there is a increase in sound quality? I just though noticed sound comes from "different" paths to my ears, is this what spatial sound?

Solution
If your desktop speakers are only stereo or 2.1, Windows Sonic may enhance the sound so give it a try. But if you've already got a set of surround sound speakers (eg 5.1 or 7.1) there's no point (may even make them sound worse).

Please note that Sonic will not improve sound quality as such, it just makes it sound different, and that difference may be desirable or undesirable, only you can judge.
