Hello, I recently got a 32 inch TV to use as a monitor and it is great! But I have one problem..

I find the Windows Taskbar to be too big, is there any way I can scale it down to be smaller and have more room for my programs.
I know the centimeter difference would not sound huge but I am very used to the small taskbar and I would love it if it can be scaled down.

(*NOTE* I have tried going to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display and changing it there but it is already on the smallest setting) 🙁

Any help would be gladly appreciated. :)

Solution
You can always Auto Hide the task bar. It only pops up when you bring the cursor down to the bottom of the screen. Just right click the taskbar and there will be a check box for auto hide in properties.

You can also check the "use small icons" it gives small icons on the desktop as well as makes the taskbar smaller.

the use "small icons" in the taskbar properties does not make your icons smaller on the desktop, you have the right click the desktop and go to view to make them bigger or smaller.
