Question Windows update failed and now wont stop insisting on a restart in middle of games

I looked this up but didn't understand the answers. How do I force windows to only update when I want it to? I was playing starcraft 2 and it minimized to ask to restart. Every hour on the hour... I feel like bill gates should get more involved with windows again...

You can disable automatic updates via the registry or group policy (10 Pro).
