Windows update issues. Please help omg.

Ok I'm sorry for the desperate title. But I truly am desperate. I have a custom rig with a asus P8Z77V_DELUXE mobo and a brand new ssd I'm trying to install win 7 on. I get it installed...I get service pack 1 installed...then after that....windows update won't find any updates...it hangs...I've tried a few fixes with nothing working. I'm so desperate for help on this. I've used 2 different win 7 ultimate disks to install os, plus a pro edition I just got done installing. I seriously need to get this computer up and going by today and I'm running out of ideas, please anything would be a huge favor. Thanks

Or you can go with something like WH Downloader which will download all the necessary windows updates you need without the need to bother with windows update system at all, only nag is installing them in batches manually, but the good thing is you can now use another application like nlite and slipstream all those updates and spk1 into one complete windows iso .....more or less.

Or try autopatcher for windows which i think also installs it for you, but remember to take those updates and slipstream using nlite to make a proper updated windows iso.
