I am on Windows 10.
Just installed Windows on my SSD through the USB installation. I was using a wireless connection while checking for updates. I then went online and downloaded the drivers for a wired connection and it seemed to cause the windows update to freeze at 21%. It is stuck at this...

Downloading updates 21%

I have reset the computer and it is still stuck at this. Everything else in my compute works perfectly fine. I also installed Nvidia drivers while the windows update was stuck. Thoughts?

1. Restart the computer.
2. Open service manager (Right-click This PC -> Manage -> Services and Applications -> Services)
3. Double-click the Windows Update service and hit the Stop button.
4. Navigate to C:\Windows\Software Distribution
5. Delete everything in that folder. This will clear up any corrupt update logs and mangled downloads.
6. Restart the Windows Update service.
7. Wait a really long time since Windows has to cross-check all your installed updates and download missing ones again.
