How to fix this glitch?Windows update is all up to date but when I go to settings,a yellow exclamation icon which says "Updates in progress" keeps showing every now and then.

I'm not sure why this happens....but I have had this happen...and what I do is just leave it....and usually the next update gets rid of it.

I've bought my laptop 2 weeks ago and it's been like this ever since...

If you are setup to do auto updates...I would wait for the next update and see what happens.
If you aren't setup for auto updates...I would either setup for them....or attempt to do a manual update and see what happens.

There might be some not updated Microsoft minor apps residing in your Store download queue responsible for that 'yellow !' notification. Have you unchecked "Receive updates for other Microsoft products" in Advanced Options menu ?

This option keeps turning on by itself for some reason each time I uncheck it.

I see I have the same issue 😕 I bet it can be resolved via specific changes in Local Group Policy Editor but have no clue via which ones atm.

It must be. Btw I made some changes through gpedit.msc This notification icon hasn't appeared at all since then but this solution satisfies me only a little.
