Windows Vista 64 Bit Home Premium or Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

which one is better for PC Gaming? I'm currently using Windows Vista 64 Bit Home Premium, will I see a noticeable increase in performance if I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit?

Here's my computer specs
Intel Q9300 2.50 Ghz
Radeon 6970 2 GB
6 GB DDR3 RAM
Eureka3 IPIEL-LA3 Mobo
1 TB Hard Drive
750 Watt PSU

You might see a slight improvement in performance.
No reason to go with Windows 7 Ultimate - it doesn't improve performance over Home Premium
(and might decrease overall performance with it's extra features).

Get windows 7 Home premium unless you are using over 16g of ram. Only Ultimate or Professional can adress the extra amount.
