Windows vista error code 0x80070002

- I am running Vista Home Premium and Internet Explorer 9. Whenever I try to run a solution for problems with IE (via the internet) using Mr. Fixit, I receive the previously stated error code. It states that an error ocurred while loading the troubleshooter. It also states that the the command line argument is invalid and that the context is elevated. Next a pop-up states that there was a runtime error and to try again later. I have several times with the same results. I ran a scan using ErrorEnd and it states that I have 2,052 errors! I did not register or use their fix as I have never heard of them. Any suggestions?
