Windows vista just stopped working

Hello,
windows vista was in my laptop when i bought it , now all of a sudden its asking me to activate it , i put in the product key but it wont accept it, and gives me an error code , can you tell me why???

No, but I can tell you that you should call Microsoft's activation helpline. They will be able to sort out your issues.
