Hello all, I have an old HP Laptop using Windows Vista 32bit that a friend wanted me to fix. Evidently, they deleted a Sys32 file (I have no idea why) which, naturally has caused the computer to stop working.. It asks for a repair disk, but since I don't have one I but a disk image onto a USB drive and used EasyBCD to make a "Bootable USB drive"\
So, I went into the Bios and setup the boot order to go from USB Hard Drive>USB floppy>USB Diskette and I still get the same warning I did as if the USB and repair disk was never there...
The warning I receive, in short-
Windows Failed to start-A recent hardware or software change may be the problem.
It then lists the steps to repair it, insert OS CD and choose language, repair, blah blah blah.
Info: The boot selection failed because the selected device is inaccessible.
