Press the power button lightly for a very short time - too long turns the system off completely but just long enough will wake it up. To disable Hibernation, go into c:\windows\system32 and find the file cmd. Right click it, select RunAs Administrator then in the black form at the Command prompt, type
powercfg hibernate off
and press Enter.
