i have a 3TB seagate central external HD which has been working properly and using the smae settings for over a year now.
the seagate is connected via cable to the router and the pc is connected via wifi.
i also have an android box (minix neo x7) which is connected via cable to the router, and from there i still have access to the seagate (i have all my media there).
in the past few days i cannot reach it from my windows 7 pc though i can see it in the network (it's being re-found when i refresh).
i tried to update the driver and got to this message in the seagate site:
"Without this driver, the BlackArmor NAS will be displayed in Device Manager under "Other Devices" and will be shown in the Control Panel – Devices and Printers with an exclamation mark. After installing the driver, the BlackArmor NAS should appear in Device Manager under "Disk Drives"."
which is exactly what i see (both "other devices" and "devices and printers").
but whenever i try to install the driver - either automatically or by following their manual instructions - i get the message in the title:
"Windows was unable to install your seagate central NAS 1D"
