Hello all. I recently built a computer by myself for the first time. Upon first boot, Windows 11 wouldn't recognize any audio input/output devices. I have the Realtek, chipset, and GPU drivers installed and device manager says they work fine, but there is still no sound from either the I/O on the mobo itself or the case panel I/O.

For those wondering, I have a MSI B360 PRO VDH mobo.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

What is the make and model of your headset/headphones? If it's USB driven, then you will need to install your chipset drivers for your platform. If it's analog, what ports are you using on the build, front or back? If front panel, then did you make sure you hooked the front panel audio connector to the header on the motherboard?

Out of curiosity, did you install your OS in offline mode and did you install all relevant drivers in an elevated command with the latest driver revisions?

USB or 3.5' jack? Go into sound settings and ensure the output is set to your headphones. Sometimes if you have multiple audio devices it will default to the one you aren't using. Also ensure that all your header cables (HD Audio) are correctly plugged into your motherboard in the correct header.
