Having a strange issue with my build. It takes a couple of times for the machine to boot; the case & fan lights will flash and then turn off, then I may have to flick the IO switch on the back of the PSU and it'll then fire up and stay on no problem. I noticed every time this happens, the boot order gets changed so I imagine I should clear the CMOS (?). The system has an i5 6500, Asrock B150M Pro 4S, 8gbs of Crucial ram & a Patriot Blast SSD. All the components are detected fine in the BIOS so it seems like it must be a simple fix.
Update: The machine is powering on & off now fine, seems to only bug out after an unclean shut down. Installing windows is still an issue, and even linux doesn't want to install so I'm thinking the drive is bad.
