Question Windows won’t boot automatically on new build

I recently installed windows 10 onto my new PC build on an ssd. I set said ssd as first in the boot order but for some reason it gets ignored and I have to boot windows manually every time I turn on my PC.

Do you any other storage on the system?
full system spec?

Do you have an external hard drive or printer connected to the computer via usb? If so unplug them and see if the issue replicates.

There is no other devices plugged into the computer

I'm also getting the CPU fan error message too if that affects it in any way

Is Windows Boot Manager a choice in the boot menu? If win 10 is formatted as GPT its a possible you should have Windows Boot Manager as 1st boot device. Or is there a choice with your boot drive listed with UEFI: before it?

You shouldn't have had to change anything after initial install on a brand new motherboard, so changing boot order wasn't necessary
