I recently bought a new 4k TV, but after some experimenting, Windows will not allow me to use it to its full potential. The TV is fitted with a 4k HDR10 display @100Hz.

The furthest settings I've been able to use via my computer, on the TV is 4k @60HZ with no HDR. The only way I'm able to turn on HDR is if I put the refresh rate down to 30Hz, but whenever it's any higher, the HDR button just instantly flashes off.
4k HDR at 30Hz is not what I'm going for so I am looking for solutions:)

I'm wondering if theres anything wrong on my computer end, because my Apple TV 4k can do 4k HDR with the same HDMI cable.

My computer specs are:
GTX 1070
i5 7600k @3,8Ghz
Asus Prime Z270-P Mobo
Corsair RM750X Power Supply

The TV specifications are in this link

Help is appreciated thank you:)

Solution
You need a gpu with HDMI 2.1 and that is limited to the latest NVidia 3000 and AMD 6000 cards. Your gpu will have HDMI 2.0 and that has a maximum of 4K 60Hz.
