Hey everyone,

For the last days I have reinstalled new and old versions of Windows 7 and Windows 10, everything is smooth until I install the Nvidia driver for my GTX 560 ti. As soon as I install the driver the pc screen turns black and afterwards I am not able to boot windows. The only way to boot windows is through safe mode.

I have also tried uninstalling all Nvidia drivers through DDU guru and tried it again, but no luck.

My last try was instead using the latest windows 10 ISO, so I installed the newest Windows 10 and after I tried to install the newest Nvidea driver which is 391.35 for windows 10 Geforce 5-series.

I would say that my video card is broken, but there was ONE single instance where my computer did boot after the GPU driver installed. (it was on a 2015 windows 7 version and a 2016 Nvidea driver) I have no idea why it actually did boot that time... right after it wouldnt boot again. That is the only reason from keeping me to throw away this old GPU in the trash.

I am hoping one of you knows what I could do.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Paas2012

Looks like there is a conflict between the latest Windows 10 update and the most recent version of graphics driver.

Since Windows 10 updates are important, can you please try installing an earlier version of graphics driver and see if it helps?

Feel free to report back for any further assistance.

Cheers!!
