Windows wont go past windows 8 symbol/ loading screen.

All I get is a black screen in which I know it loads programs, as it keeps my monitor on, and can hit a button on my keyboard in which lights up my keyboard. Only previously able to do so, when at login screen for computer. I have recently had to put in a windows 8 install disk, to even get it to load past bios. Otherwise my other UEIM is broken.

if the pc has onboard video pull the gpu see if the gpu or the driver went bad. before you pull the gpu see if you can get in when you hit f8 safe mode. if you have windows installer disk boot from it then go into advace mode see if you can roll back windows using system restore point. if none of that works i would plug the disk into another pc move the data off the drive that you can and then nuke and pave it.

I think the install for w8 just went corrupt as a windows 7 install disk works perfectly fine.
