Windows won't recognize hdd

I was running dban and something went wrong where my PC turned off, now I can't reinstall Windows because there's no file system so it doesn't recognize it and the only thing that does is GParted on Zorin, but the problem is is it won't let me format but still recognizes it which is good right? I do also have one of those devices that can hold a hdd and put it in the USB and a laptop that runs both Mac and Windows and obviously GGParted, thanks!

Why would you run DBAN if you're not selling the drive or destroying it?

The file system is gone, but you should be able to create a new partition and then format it.
